TETANUS AND DEATH.

Christchurch, May 26. A boy nine years old, son of Mr Thomas Carter, assistant pilot at Lyttelton, died suddenly to-day. He was a strong healthy little fellow, and had been unwell for two or three days when to-day, from no apparent cause, tetanus set in and he died in a few hours.
