/ Wemington, January 22. To-dty, being Anniversary Day, was obsen^d as a general holiday. The weatfer was delightful and the heat was teWered by a light southerly breeze. TW principal attractions were the regatta aitl Druids' fete. At the regatta the first/ass yacht race was won by the Isca by a ftnnute from the Thetis, Xarifa being third, fifteen minutes behind. The Lyttelton crew Dore also started but gave up after going once round. Other events were. only of local interest. No accidents occurred*
