Commander Edwin wired yesterday afternoon an "urgent" telegram stating that the glass would further rue, with very cold weather, and frost to-night. The Wallabi arrived yesterday with a load of live stock from Wanganui. There was a very heavy sea on the bar last evening, and every appearance that the cold weather predictedby Commander Edwin setting in.
