y Medical. SANDER'AND-SONS' -EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med. Wochenschrift, 1879), Mosler, M.D., Professor at the University, Greifswald, Germany, reports :— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swelling Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and' lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. Sander and Sons' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, London, the leading surgeon of the j,:,\.-:.0..: -time, stated 'at the last meeting of the Clinical Society. Lontlori,' as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction ) Sander and Sons' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Med. Journal, Dec, 1881.) — Cancer of the Tongue — Patient, Mrs W ,35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous diathesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken three times daily ; also tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged curad (J. H, Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadel phia. ) Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Xerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of tho Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have been attained through the application of the Euealpyti Extract. Sandeii and Sons' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Am. Med. Journal, November, ISSI.) In diseases of the kidneys either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) or albuminuria, dropsy, lithiasis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, nve to eight drops in a little sweetened water, twice or three times daily. Sander and Sons' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From Am. Med. Journal, Jan., ISS2).— Pitzer, M.D., Prof, Theory and Practice of Med. Am. Med. College, says— lt is the best remedy I. nown in typhomalaria, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diptheria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c. ; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might refulfc in c general breaking up of the blood and in death. Sand Kit and Sons' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881.)— Surgical Clinic of Professor M'ln tyre; College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis — Scirrhus of Breast — Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lutyrc noted the following conditiou :— No swelling, heat, or discoloration, near or in the wound, which has united fully ; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. _ J8 A^N DE R AN D SON S, "£^^Z Sandhurst, Victoria. Sander and Sons' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept., 1880).— The American m.edical profession uses, in gonorrhaa, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce Eucalypti Extrapt, one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, j applied four times daily.
