MUTINY AND MURDER AT SEA.
Brisbane. The Swedish schooner Natal, Captain Eustron, just arrived from Boston, reports that on 27th November the second mate, who was a son of the captain, was washing clothes on deck, when he was attacked by the crew, five in number, wounded and thrown overboard. The men then attacked the captain, who was asleep, with an axe, and shot the mate in the face with a revolver. The captain, however, seized a gun and went on deck, followed by the mate, who had seized a revolver. Four of the crew took refuge in the hold, being afraid of the gun, while the captain secured the remaining one. Four men remained in the hold four days, when they came out. The captain blew the brains out of the two -who actually killed the second mate ; and who were the ringleaders in the mutiny. After some days' suffering and hardship, being obliged to watch the three remaining men, they fell in with the barque Kaffre, from whom they obtained ■< two men to assist to iiayigate the vessel to Brisbane. The mutineers were arrested, and. will be brought up for trial on Friday.
