FIRE AT RIDDIFORD'S STATION.

Information has been received of a fire

having occurred on Messrs Riddiford and Son's station, east coast, resulting in the total destruction of the shearing shed, stables, cow houses, and yard, and 14 bales of wool. The fire occurred about 2 o'clock on Thursday morning. The buildings are insured for £1500. Later. The following are the insurances on Riddiford's station. Imperial, £1000 on the building. The New Zealand Company will lose about £200 on the 15 bales wool burned.
