By request I took particular notice of the qualities of both and the quantities used, when I certainly preferred to use the Brunner Coal, which I did for five weeks. It is a good steaming coal, very clean, no waste, and free from clinker, which I cannot say was the case with the Westport Coal, there being a very heavy clinker and a lot of waste.
