DUNEDIN CRIMINAL SESSIONS.

Dunedin, January 17. The criminal sessions commenced this morning, His Honor's charge merely referred briefly to the cases on tha calenw dar, remarking that none of them called for special comment. There are six cases involving charges of indecency. George Henry Hill pleaded guilty to a charge of house breaking, and was sentencad to six months' imprisonment. Robert Galbraith, on two indictments of forgery, was also sentenced to six months' im« pcisonment. John Yorston was convicted of attempted rape, sentence being de* ferred. William Foreshaw pleaded guilty to two indictments of stealing a sewing machine. Sentence was deferred in this case also.
