Ab usual she discharged, took in her coal, and got away by next tide. She takeß 250 tons coal. The s s St Hilda arrived at Weßtport yesterday morning at 6 o'clock. Ihe b s Mahinapua sailed from Westport for Greynrouth yesterday evening at 7 o'clock. Captain Edwin wired the following weather forecast yesterday at 12.30 p m :— ."Watch barometer; bad weather is approaching from any quarter between northeast and north and west ; glass fall »gain soon, and- within 12 hours sea heavy." At 4.40 p m he telegraphed that there waß every indication of the river being flooded after 12 hours. The Oamaru Mail publishes areturn showing that for the past three sears 21 vessels, ranging from 300 to 760 tons register, with draught ot water from 16ft to 16ft Bin, have been loaded at the wharves and Bailed for the United Kingdom, and there are two 500 ton vessels no* loading for the same destination. Five of tho above vessels loaded and sailed in December, 1881.
