AUCKLAND NEWS.
Adckland, Juue 8. The Auckland savings' bank trustees intend to give local stone a trial in the erection of their handsome new threestorey building. They invite samples. At the performance of Pinafore laßt nighr, numbers were refused admission. There has been the heaviest flood seen at Dargaville for five years. 1600 logs of the Sash and Door Company got adrift, but were ultimately secured. Forty pounds were realised by the conversazione at the Auckland Institute for mounting specimens.
