Auckland, March 11. Moat, Dargaville, and R. Hobbs have bsen elected members of the Education Board, James Forrest Bell, station master, Ohanpo, has been committed for trial on the charge of embezzlement. A meeting of the School Committees is being held to-night to consider the rela« tions of School Committees to the Educa* tion Board under the Act. The son of the Hon. James Wil'iamaon has received severe fractures through a fall from his horse. Owing to disclosures at the Industrial Home of improper practices between the elder boy 3 and girls, the Committee are sending out to service all boys over 12 years of age.
