The following weather forecast was received yesterday :—" Indications of bad weather between north-east, north, and north-west. Glass fall, and sea increase, and likely heavy." The p. s Lioness arrived from Hokitika on yesterday morning's early tide, bringing back the brethren of the Craft who left Greymonth to take part in the Masonic installation at Hokitika. The s.s Kennedy sailed last evening for Westport and Nelson. The schooner Julius Yogel was towed in yesterday morning. The schoonei Cleopatra, from Lyttelton, was towed to the wharf on last night's tide. The barque Examiner leaves Lyttelton for Greymouth this morning. This regular trader hag commenced the year with two very smart trips, and the ship and her worthy commander, Captain Clarkson, has onr best wishes for a continuance of prosperity in the Greymonth coal trade. A great boon to persons having small parcels to send to the Mother Country has now been arranged for by the Union Steam Shipping Company of New Zealand in conjunction with the Orient Steam Shipping Company. This consists of a parcel express by which packages a foot measurement and upward can be sent through to London at a minimum chargts of 5a p r foot or Is per lb, measure or weight, being charged at the option of the Company.
