NELSON SHOOTING.
Nelson, March 9. In match 12ch, the North Island carbine team alone fired — H. Dixon (Wellington), was first with 76 points ; Armstrong (Thames), 74, second; Thomas: (Thames), third. The Consolation was won by Sharland (Nelson), who takes L 5 ; Wilson (Otago), second, who receives L 2 ; and Marshall (Otago), third, who takes LI 9s 4d. Tho prizes were distributed this afternoon by Mrs Sufcer, wife, of the Bishop.
