IJANDEE AN D SONS 0 EUCALYPTI EXTRACT Under the distinguished patronage of His Majesty the Ring of Italy, at Romp aacording to communication received from the Consul-General for Italy at Melbourne, upon instructions from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, date 14th March, IC7B. Tbo Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulna, manufactured solely by Messrs Sander and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration and testimonials :— Fpifcome of declaration made before Moritz ''.bn, J.P, on the 17th October, 1877, at Sandhurst : — Three medical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Eaabe, of Ironbark, for nine weeks, and declared that amputation of t> c leg injured by an axe wa*' absolutely DPcessary. At this juncture Mr Raabe called on Messrs Sander and Sons, procuring some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same he bad the satisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of all danger, and he has now quite recovered. Saitdhtost, 2nd October, 1877. I certify that I have ÜBed Mr Sander's extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in all affections of the thro**, inflammation, bronchitis, rheumatic swellings, inflammation of the breasts after confinement, toothache, and diarrhoea, and can strongly recommend it in all cases as stated above. Brief Extracts from the Bendigo Evening News :— Mr Gieschin, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe cold in November, could scarcely breathe, and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of he extract. The same gentleman suffered eight yean from rupture, and all medical skill proved ineffectual in giving relief. In November Mr Reeves, from the Rifle' man's Arms, Back Creek, brought information of a cure of delirium caused by sunstroke, which took place in the family of Mi Ryan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered in the rdof the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attending to any work, She re moved the swelling completely by a con tinued application of the extract. The Donald Timeß, of lßtDecember, 1877 states : — "Last week the eldest boy of M; Morgan awoke In the night crying witl earache. The extract was applied, and thi little fellow was cured and asleep In tei minutes. Mr French, of Coorack station, sufferec from bad earache and pains in the head Two drops of the extract were put In th ear and some rubbed round the ear, and thi pain instantly disappeared. Mr Croker, at Mount Jeffcott, was lai< ap for nearly a fortnight with inflammatioi of the eyes, and was in great agony. Th extract waß used, and in a few days th Inflammation disappeared. The Evening Times has reported cures 0 neuralgia, by the use of the extract, ai Geelong, The extract, w ich is of a brillian yellow gold color, and need not be confounded witt the turpentine like preparation of the gum that is to found in the trade, his beer applied, with marked beneficial effect, tc severe sprains, all sorts of wounds, cuts, scaldings, and its chief property — namely, to check all inflammation — accounts for th( cures referred to.
