Brunner Stakes "Handicap— Of 20 sovs^ 1^ miles ; nomination, 1 soy ; acceptances, 1 soy. Nominations received tip to 11 p.m on Monday, December 27 ; declaration of weights made at finish of Grey Valley Stakes ; and acc^ptasce received ■witbin 15 minutes after declara tion. 4. All nominations and acceptances must be made in writing and sent in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, Albion Hote', Greymouth, awd contain entrance money, swot pstakes, description and age of horse, and colors to be worn by the jockey. 3. All Btakc-s paid less 5 pc? cent. Three horses mußt start for each race, or the public money will be withheld ; the races will be run under the Greymouth Jockey Club Rules. 4. No entry will bo received unless upon the distinct upderstanding that the decision of the stewards, or whoever they may ap> point, shall in al] cases be fit al, and all law proceedings barred. 5. All entries for ions Huckßaco are to be made snVject to the approval ol the Btewards. 6 AU horses must be ridden in colors. 7. In the event of any person entering a protest, the sum of L 2 23 mv t be lodged with the Secretary before such protest is considere I ; this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. 8 All parties entering a horse must pay the sum of T 2 2* to tte Bace Fund in order to qualify themselves, entries for the Novel anrt Hack Races only being excepted. 9, In all handicaps three horses mast accept or the public money will bo withheld.
