TIMARU NEWS.

Timaru, May 22. An inquiry was opened at Winchester to-day on a fire which took place in the railway station lately, and by which an engine was burnt; if belonged to a farmer named Thomas Main, and wai insured in Victoria office for L 250. As incendiarism is expected, an inqury was held, but it was not concluded when the train left there.
