Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Council of the Borough of Greymouth, to be held in the Town Hall, Greßson Btreet, Greymouth, on FRIDAY, the 23rd day of MAY, 1879, it is the intention of the Council to make and levy a GENERAL BOROUGH RATE of ONE SHILLING in the POUND upon the value of all rateable property jippeariog on the Valuation 1101 lof the said Borough for, and in respect of, the period commencing FRIDAY, the 23rd day of MAY, 1879, thence next ensuing, and ending on MONDAY, the 26th day of MaY. 1879, said RATE to be PAYABLE at the Town Clerk'B Office, Gresßon Htreeb, Greymouth, on TUESDAY, the 27th day of MAY, 1879 .And notice is hereby farther given that the Rate Book for the said Borough is open for inspection at the office of the Council, Gresson street, Greymouth, daily, from 10 o'clock a.m. to 12 noon.
