O STAND THIS SEASON, at the Farm of JAMES O'MALLEY, Little Grey Junction, the Pure Bred Clydesdale Stallion, YOUNG DOUGLAS, By " Sir Colin Campbell," out of "Blossom, 1 dam "Violet," a thorough -bred Clydesdale imported to Tasmania. " Young Douglas " is a dark bay, with black points, three years old, and stands 16^ hands, with tremendous bone and substance, good action, and fine mild temper. Pedigree. — ••Sir Collin Campbell 1 ' was got by the well-known horse " King Fergus," out of the celebrated Mare "Scotland's Pride." "King Fergus" was got by "Lord Byron," the property of Mr Proudfoot, Durafneshire, who gained the prize of -C4O at Annan, when 4 years old. " Lord Byron ' was got by " Old Prince Loyal," who gained the first prize at Aberdeen, and also at Johnstone. "King Fergus" was bred by Mr Muir, Kircudbrightshire, out of his prize mare, which was bred by Mr Frame, Clydeside. "King Fergus" gained seven first prizes in 1860, and he had tb,e first prize as being the best animal of the horse^kind at the great flhow at Hamilton. _" Scotland's Pride " was gofc by the celebrated Clydesdale horse " Lofty," . out of the well-known Smithston stock. "Lofty" was the propgrty of Mr Samuel Clark, aud gained the premium at Glasgow, open to all Scotland. " Scotland's Pride " gained the premium of the Highland Society's Show in 1861, as a three year old. She has also gained five first prizes ia Canterbury. YOUNG DOUGLAS will be at Lardi's (late Marshall's) Hotel, Totara FJat, every Saturday during the season, Terms — £3 10s for each Mare. A reduction by agreement with the bona fide owner of three or more Mares. All fees to be paid during the first two weeks in January, 1876. JAMES O'MALLEY.
