[Anglo-australian press telegraph AGENCY.] Wellington, Oct. 10. The Resident Magistrate's decision today on the question of the liability of of mail coaches to pay tolls has been maintained — that the Legislature had exempted mail coaches from payment of tolls. Wellington, Oct. 10. An influentially-signed requisition has been presented to George Hunter, M.H.R., asking him to allow himself to be nominated a candidate for the mayoralty.
