The "Post" understands he will be gazetted as Minister of Immigration and Secretary of Crown Lands. HOKITXKA, Sept. 7. At the Circuit Court this morning Alice Kirkman, convicted for larceny, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Annie Haines, for larceny from the person, got one year's hard labor. In the Cobden cattle-stealing case a true bill was found against the Warrens, but no true bill was found against Fitzgerald.
