The Colonial Prize Firing commenced to-day, but was 'delayed till nine o'clock I in consequence of a heavy rainfall during the night. The first was the Cavalry Match, seven shots, judging distance. First prize, L 6, Walker, 3 of Wanganui, with 24 points ; second, L 4, BarribaU, of Maiuka, with ■23 ; third do, L 3, M'Cartney, A.0., with 21 points. The weather was very unsettled.
