Nominations, with 1 soy., to be sent in on night of general entry. Handicap declared at noon the following day, and acceptancess with 2 sovs./ received up till 8 p.m. on Monday, 16th March, at the Albion Hotel. WESTLAND HANDICAP TROTTING RACE, Of 20 soys.; 3 miles; minimum weight list ; second horse to receive 5 soys. Entrance, 2 soys. GREYMOUTH JOCKEY CLUB HANDICAP, Of 175 soys., with a sweep of 7 soys. acceptances added ; second horse to receive 25 boys. from the stake ; distance, 2^ miles. Entries closed. Handicap declared £2nd January. Acceptances, with 7 soys., received up to 28th February. SECOND DAY— WEDNESDAY, MAR. 18 GOLD FIELDS' HANDICAP, Of 125 soys. ; second horse to receive 20 soys. from the stake ; distance, If miles. Nominations, with 2 soys., to close on 28th February. Weights to be declared at 9 p.m. 17th March, and acceptances with 6 boys. received up to 11 p.m. same evening. HURDLE HANDICAP, Of 50 soys.; abont 2\ miles. Nominations, 2 soys. CONSOLATION HANDICAP. Of 20 soys. ; 1 mile. Open to all beaten horses. Entrance, 1 soy. REGULATIONS. The rules of the Greymouth Jockey Club will be enforced, unless otherwise specified. No entry will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision ot the stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in. all cases be final, and all law pro ceedings barred. All entries for the Hack Race are to be made subject to the approval of the stewards. Night of general entries, 13th March ; place, Albion Hotel, not later than 10 o'clock. All entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horse and colors of riders, and enclosing the requisite money. , All horses must be ridden in colors. i All parties entering a horse must pay the sum of 3 soys. to the Race Fund (unless a member of the Club, who shall pay 1 soy.) id order to qualify themselves, entries for the Hack and Trotting Races only being except cd. .
