Inangahcta Share Market. — Mr Richd. Res-YES reports another week of dull business—yery little inquiry for any: mining stock. An unfouuded report was freely circulated in town during the early part of the week that the Fiery (Gross reef had run out, which caused a considerable panic in this company ; stock shares could not be parted -with at 353. Since, however, the untruth of the report ha 3 been ascertained, slock has again rallied, and I have passed shares through my book at 40s, 425, and 455 ; holders are now asking 50s, and firm at that. The reef continues the same thickness, and showing at present better gold than ever. Of this the writer cjn vouch from personal inspection. Just-in-Titnes have had a considerable drop, but are again .on the more upwards. At this time last week it $?as difficult to obtain 43, since then I have sold at public auction and; privately considerable parcels at from 4a 6d to ss, 5s 6d being now asked. I anticipate that this stock will ere long take its : old place in the quotations, from this district. Alexandras and Hopefuls Have also felt the effect of late depression ; holders are, however, firm in their demands, and do not evmce much disposition to parb at present.. rates, which may be quoted for Alexandras L 420, aud Hopefuls L3OO, per foil share. There is Jittle doing iri either Adam Smith's or Murray Creek -lines, and no alterations of. any note in former quotations. Larry's Creek shares, maintain their position in the market better than ary others, there •being but few holders)" and these asking'extreme rates. There has been a few transactions in Andercons and Invincibles, the former at 6s 6d, and the latter at 3s fid ex dividend. United Band of Hopes are inquired for at 1b Q&. Victorias are also beginning to be talked about, bub I have not heard of any transactions. With the early prospect of powerful machinery being placed on Rainy Creek, interests in this lbe.~lity are looking up. Holder? of Golden Heece are asking 8s 66, at which figure a smcA parcel changed hands this week.
