After a few remarks from the Chairifak, he introduced Mr Dungan to the meeting? '■■> . Dungan r was a fit and proper person to represent this district in the new Provincial Council. The motion on being put by the Chairman was carried by acclamation. : Mr Harry Burger proposed a vote of thanks for the efficient manner in which Mr Dungan had looked after the interest of this district in the County Council. The resolution was seconded by, Mr H. Kedrum,- and on being put to the meeting, was 'Carried amid a round of hearty cheers. Mr Dungan having returned thanks, moved a vote of thanks to the chair, which being carried, the meeting sepe-
