Two hundred Tickets, numbered from 1 to ; 200, are placed in envelopes in a bag, from which, at any time, a person can have a draw by paying 20s. Should it be a Prize or Blank it is returned to the bag, keeping always the full number of Prizes and Blanks. Should you take the whole 200 Tickets, yon will find that the Prizes and Blanks amount to £200, for which you would have paid £200; thus proving that the Art Union is perfectly even. The|profits on the goods is the only advantage the proprietor has, taking the pbances of losing £27 10s. FRI&E FOR A POUND. The Prizes given away will be found to be worth the amount they represent. The name of F. H. LEWISSON is alone a guarantee for the genuineness of the Art Union and of the Goods j twelve years resident in Auckland. Should any of the Prize numbers be drawr Out, the party at once receives his Jewellery, and the ticket is returned to the bag, giving the next person who speculates a pound the chance of drawing it. Should it be drawn out 20 times in one day it is still put in again, giving everyone the same cbance, not as in a lottery where only one person oar draw the high pri*e. Here everyone cat get it if he is in luck. Persons drawing Prizes are not compelled to take the articlei on the list, they have the privilege of select ing an article or articles in stock for th< same amount, and they will find the goodi worth the money charged. Should you dray two, three, or more prizes you can place th< amountß together, thus giving you a chanci of winning any article in Jewellery in stool for a small outlay. A person drawing 1, 5 10, 15, and 35, would receive £72 103 wortl of Jewellery or Watches for an outlay of £5 The goods are all marked selling price ii 'i S plain figures.
