COMMERCIAL.
Inanoahua Share Market.— Mr Richd. Reeves reports :— There has not been so much business doing for the past week as in several of the previous ones, owing, doubtless, to the very much increased value put on the several stocks by holders. Fiery Cross has advanced considerably since my last report, with every prospect of higher rates being obtained, the last sales effected being equal to L2BOO per full share, the reports from the workings continue most favorable. Just-in-Times are inquired for at 12s, but as that figure does not come up to holders' ideas, but little business can be reported. Alexandras have advanced, and have been sold at equal to LB2O per full share ; L 250 per quarter is now asked for the same interest. I have sold Larrys No. 2 south at L 240 per quarter ; No. 1 south, same line, at LSO per quarter. This district is in considerable favor at present, and with the early prospect of machinery going on the ground interests must advance. In Murray Creek lines of reef little doing. Andersons are inquired for at ss, holders not feeling inclined to part at that figure. Invincibles may be quoted at 3s 9d to 4s. United Bands have rapidly advanced from 9d to 2s. I cannot mention any transactions that have taken place in other claims in this district.
