TENDERS'are required for the SUPPLY and DELIVERY of Six Hundred; more or less, TELEGRAPH POLES, between Reefton and Lyell, at mark pegs along or near the dray road. They must be tot&ra saplings, orHwwit square; if saplings they must be not lew than ten inches at the butts and eighfeioiches at the heads, twenty and twenty.five feet ong, straight and sound, and stripped of the bark two feet at the top end; if sawn they must be eight inches at the butts and six inches at tho heads, sound, free from sap, bad knots, shakes or speckled-timber, 1 same lengths as above, and will have to be submitted to inspection before they are accepted .
