In each handicap race there must be three starters, or no prize ; four starters, or no second prize ; five starters, or no third prize; and six starters, or no fourth prize. Heats in the Champion Races will be decided by running the middle distance. In each atyle of wrestling there must be ' eight competitors to ensure any public money being given; six competitors, or no second prize ; and eight competitors, or no third or fourth prize.
