INANGAHUA MINING ITEMS.

[HBEAJiP, NOV. 15.]

The gratifying intelligence reached Reef ton yesterday that the reef had been struck in the El Dorado tunnel, Boatman's.

In No. 2. North, Larry's, the reef at the northern face is now 7ft in width, with a very good show of gold. In the Prospector's claim, after sinking the shaft and having gone a short distance on the reef, it was decided to suspend operations until the pumping gear had beeti received. Excellent atone was obtained at the foot of the shaft. Next week it is expected lhat everything will be in working order for a fair start at continuing the shaft.

A very important discovery was made in the Just-in-Time mine, on Thursday, when the Fiery Cross lode was found exposed on the surface 60ft to the eastward of the run of stone which is at present being worked. The information is reliable, and must tend to greatly increase the value of the Just-in-Time Company's property. Mr James Clarke, mining manager, reached Reefton the same afternoon in order to acquaint the resident directory with the satisfactory intelligence. .
