Weights to be declared at 9 p.m. 17th March, and acceptances with 6 soys. received up to 11 p.m. same evening. HURDLE HANDICAP, Of 30 soys. ; about 2 miles. Nomination, with 1 soy., to be sent to the Secretary before 9 p.m. on the evening of the 17th March ; weights to be declared at 10 p.m.; and acceptances, with 2 soys., received up to 11 o'clock the same evening. The rules of the Greymouth Jockey Cflub will be enforced, unless otherwise specified. > No entry will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decision of the stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred. All entries for the Hack Race are to made subject i» the approval of the Stewards. Night of general entries, 15th March; place, Albion Hotel. All entries and acceptances must be in writing, specifying age and description of horse and colors of rider, and enclosing the requsite money, j All horses must be ridden in colors. All parties entering a horse must pay the sum of 3 soys. to the Race Fund (unless a member of the Club, who shall pay 1 soy.) in order to qualify themselves, entries, for the Hack Race only being excepted.
