Election Notices PLECTI ON NOTICE. GREYMQUTH ELECTORAL DISTRICT. In pursuance of the provisions of tho Acts of the General Assembly, intituled "The County of Westland Act, 1868," "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1870," and "The County of Westland Act Amendment Act, 1870," I, William Horton Revell, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Greymouth, do hereby give notice that an ELECTION will bo held for the return of TWO qualified persons to serve as MEMBERS of the County Council of Westland for the said Electoral District ; and that the NOMINATION of Candidates will take place at the Resident Magistrate's Court, Greymouth, at Noon on THURSDAY, the FIFTH day of DECEMBER, 1872 ; and that the POLL (if necessary) will be taken on THURSDAY, the 12th day of DECEMBER, 1872. And I further give notice that at such Nomination every Candidate must be proposed by an elector duly qualified to vote at such election, and seconded by another elector so qualified.
