WHEREAS it is expedient to alter the duties-of Customs ;- payable on the iriiportation of "goods, wares, and merchandise into the Colony of New Zealand :-^ Be it therefore, enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand, in Parliament assembled, as follows :— ■. 1. The Short Title of this Act shall be the New Customs Duties ' Act, 1564. • 2. The duties of Customs chargeable upon goods,, wares, and. merchandise imported' into the- Colony of New Zealand, shall cease aiid determine from and after the:Bth day Of December, 1804. , .. '.. .
