MELBOURNE, September 13.
Malting barley is depressed; the price is without change, 5s to 5s 2d. Shipping wheat is dull at 6s 9d to 6s lid. New Zealand oats are worth 3s lid to 4s Id for feeding, and 4s 2d to 4s 3d for milling sorts. The market is stagnant. The body of Mrs Stent, who died en August sth, has been exhumed, for the pnrpose of holding a coroner's inqnest, the circumstances nnder which her death occurred having led to the suspicion that it was caused by abortion. It is understood that a Melbourne doctor is implicated in the case. A post mortem examination has been ordered, but the results have not transpired. Arrived —This morning, the Union Co.'s steamship Te Anan, from the Bluff, and the steamship Hero. SYDNEY, September 13.
It is probable that Sir Arthur Gordon and other passengers by the steamer Gunga, who were quarantined on the 27 th nit., will be released on Saturday next. Sir Henry Farkes is improving in health.
