NEW ZEALAND KAIL WAYS (Christchurch Section). HUNT CLUB STEEPLECHASES. AT CHBISTCHUBCH. JULY 13th. 1882. lAIN i will rnn from Christchurch to the Baceconrse at intervals from 11.30 a.m. to Ip.m., and from the Baceconrse to Christchurch at intervals from about 3.15 p.m. up to half an hour after the last race. Fares - Christchurch to Baoecourse and back (including admission to the Course), first class, 3a fid; second class or seated waggons, 2s fid. Ordinary tickets or free passes are not available by the Baceconrse train?, and passengers mil not be taken up or sot down by these trains at any station between Christchurch and the Baceconrse. The ordinary time-table will be altered as under on 13th July The morning train from Methven to Bakaia will rnn same as on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There will be morning and evening trains on the Kaiapoi Eyreton Branch, same as on Saturdays, instead of the midday trains. The trains due to leave Christchurch for Sonthbridga and Ashburton at 3 55 p.m. and 4.25 p.m respectively will leave as under. For Sonthbridga at 5 10 p.m., and for Ashburton at 5.20 p m., running respectively 75 and 55 minutes later than usual. The evening trains, Eclleaton to Springfield, Barfield to Whitecliffs, and Bakaia to Methven, will each rnn 55 minutes later than usual. A special train will leave Christchurch at 11 p.m. for Bangiora, arriving there at 12.10 a.m., and returning to Christchurch at 12.20 a.m , stopping where required. Goods traffic will be suspended. The midday goods trains (which carry passengers) on the Sonthbridga branch will not run.

Single fare tickets to Christchurch issued on 12th or 13th at stations within the Provincial District of Canterbury will bo available as return tickets for a week from date of issue. FREDK.
