[eeutbe’s TELEGEAM.] MELBOURNE, July 11. Tre steamship Durham, which left London on May sth, arrived hero this morning. Her machinery broke down daring the voyage, and she was compelled to put into Portland to effect the necessary repairs. Sir Julius Vogel is now staying at Monzies’ Hotel, Bourfce street west. His departure for New Zealand has been postponed owing to an attack of the gout from which he is suffering. It is stated that—Sir Julius’ stay in the colonies will 4poffnt a brief one.
