The steamer Star of the South arrived last night from Wellington and Greymouth, and will leave this evening for Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin, The U.S.S. Co.’s Wakatipu arrived at 8 o’clock this morning from Sydney aud Wellington, and will leave this eveuuing for Port Chalmers. The s.s. Ladybird arrived at noon, aud sails for Wellington to night at 8 o’clock. . The steamer Tui from Wellington aud Kaikoura arrived at 4 a.m. to-day. She is announced to leave for Kaikoura, Waipapa, and Wellington to-night.
