The revenue collected at the Customs on Wednesday, 28th instant, amounted to £1553 2s 9d. The following “ ore i.ue items: —Wines and spirits, £169 13s 8i; bottled beer, £56 8s 9d ; tobacco, £9O; tea, £57 13s ; sugar, £lO3 3s lid; drapery and apparel, £137 16s; boots, £66 4s; stationery and fancy goods, £139 18s; flour, £6 4s; flour bags and cornsacks, £55; drugs, £l6; grocery stores, £B9 ISs 8d; oilmen’s stores, £33 16s ; paints and oils, £56 ISs 6d ; carriage, £iu 10s ; pianos, £37 16s: iron and ironmongery, £ls 8s ; saddlery, £Bl 2s ; grindery, £3B 4s; cement, £25; hardware, £9O 10s; earthenware, £43 4s ; cutlery and plated ware, £2O 11s; sundries, £lll 0s 3d. At the sittings of the Waste Lauds Board yesterday 5161 acres 3 roods 23 perches were disposed of, realising £10,324 Ss 4d. The land was situated as follows-Ashley, 80 acres; Selwyn, 21 acres; Ashburton, 4733 acres 3 roods 23 perches; Geraldine, 327 acres.
