November 4—Courier, ketch, 30 tons, Sinclair, from Pigeon Bay. November 4—Joliba, barque, 323 tons, Scoule, from Newcastle. November 4—Taranaki, s.s., 299 tons, Wheeler, from Dunedin. Passengers -• Saloon: Misses Cox (2), Messrs Mooney, Lyons, Western, Mossing, Williams, Campbell, Warren, and 15 for North. SteerageMessrs Pipps, Dix, Linklater, Mullany, and 7 for North. SAILED. November 4-F. E. W. S. Vire, 6 guns, 1625 tons, Jacquemart, for Akaroa. November 4 Gutenberg, ship, 740 tons, Bockwolds, for Newcastle, with part original cargo. November 4 Melanie, three - masted schooner, LSGtons, Creagh, forKaipara, with general cargo. Steamer—Taranaki. Ships Dorette. Inverallan, Merope, Endymion, Duke of Edinburgh. Brigantines and schooners Fairlie, Emerald, Bee, Levi Stevens, Strathnavar, Maiden City, Reward, Nile. Ketches—Annie, Linnet. The F.R.W.S. Vire sailed for Akaroa about noon this morning, and the ship Gutenburg tripped her anchor at 6 a.m. for Newcastle, with part of original cargo. The three-masted schooner Melanie, Captain Creagh, sailed at 12.30 p.m. this morning for Kaiapoi. She takes a general cargo of grain, &c, shipped by Messrs Matheson's Agency. The s.s. Taranaki, Captain Wheeler, arrived in harbor at 1 p.m. this afternoon from Dunedin. She sails on her return trip for Northern Ports to-morrow. The schooner Reward, Captain Westlake, put in harbor last night wind bound. She came from Oamaru, bound to Wellington, with cargo of flour.
