Passenge -saloon : Messrs Roskrudge, Hart and Greenap, and 19 for North. Steerage Messrs Mitchell, Powell, E. Smith, and Buckley. October 28—0. L. Taylor, three-masted schooner, from Puget Sound, with timber. SAILED. October 28 —Ocean Bird, schooner, 41 tons, Breit, for Nelson, with full cargo. October 21 —Sarah and Mary, schooner, 40 tons, Grubb, for Westport. VESSELS IN HARBOR. Ships Dorette. Taunton, Inverallan, Merope, Endymion, Guttenberg. Barque—Especulador, Syren. Barquentine Prince Alfred. Brig—Annie Ogle. Brigantines and schooners —Mary King, Fairlie, Hannah Barrat, C. L. Taylor, Ocean Bird, Melanie, and J. G. Coleson. Cutters—Nautilus. Ketches—Linnet, Elizabeth Ann, Kestrel, and Catherine.
The s.s. Lady Bird arrived at 2 p.m. today, she brings about 10 tons of cargo for this port. The barque East Lothian, and three-masted schooner C. L. Taylor, arrived this morning! but the N.W. wind prevented them coming up the harbor, and they were still anchored when our express left.
