A letter was read from the committee, accepting the modified boundaries as settled by the Board,of Education, and requesting the Board to take steps at an early date to proclaim the district under the Act. The Board agreed to proclaim the district under the Act, the secretary to make enquiry as to the date of general school committee election. • DUVAUCHELLE'S BAY. A letter was read from the local committee, asking that Mr Ross, who had not passed the examination, might be permitted to continue till the January examination. The Board agreed to grant the request, Mr Boss to come up for examination in January next,such examination to be final.
