NOTES. The Waiuui, with southern cargo, is expected to arrive at Gisborne from Napier this morning, hud on completion of discharge and loading is to return to Wellington, thence southern ports to load again lor Napier and Gisborne. The Pukeko was to clear Auckland last night for Coast bays, G sborne and Nup’er. The ship is to work here to-morrow. The Pakura loads at Wellington to-morrow and at Lyttelton on Saturday for Gisborne. She is expected to arrive here next Tuesday. The Margaret W. was due to finish loading at Auckland last night, and sail for Tokomaru Hay, Tolaga Hav and Gisborne, arriving here to-mer-
Tho steam trawler Mahuta arrived at Gisborne on Monday from Napier. About two years ago the Mahuta was a. familiar sight on the Gisborne waterfront, but lor a considerable time now she has been Idling-or tcl Napier. Her captain proposes fishing cut of Gisborne lor in time. 1
The Auckland yacht Ngataki, which left Norloik Island for Auckland on March 15. passed Cape Maria V|in Dionian yesterday afternoon. According to- advice received from the lighthouse keeper, the yacht signalled that all were well on hoard and that the weather was fine and the sii’.i smooth, 'the Ngataki, which is owned hv Mr. J. W. Wray, who is also the skipper, left Auckland for Norfolk Island on March 3. Mr. Wray, who was accompanied by several companions, intended to be iawav for about a month. —P.A.
