Sixteen tables were occupied at the weekly Flag 500 held in the Poverty Bay Rowing Club’s hall last evening. It was announced 'that a monthly aggregate would commence as from next Thursday evening and that there would bo a substantial increase in the prizes for the winning table each night. At the conclusion of a number of friendly games, a dainty supper was served. , The aggregate, which concluded, last evening, proved n very exciting finish and was won by Mrs., Hanna, (ladies’ section) and Mr Dunne; (gentlemen’s section). The evening’s prizes were won by the following: Winning table (most flags) Mpsdam.es E. Corbett and Dynes and Messrs. ,D. Hay and Corscadden. Ladles’ first, most clips, Airs. Bimer. Gentlemen’s first, most clips, Mr. H. Cotton., Travelling envelope, Mesdanies Tier, Coleman, Robb and Franklin.
