The Associated Press understands that while everything possible will be clone to ensure Italian attendance at Geneva, it is impossible to accede to the request for a postponement of the' discussion on reform of tlie League of Nations, especially as llm Assembly already has been postponed fo« a fortnight to enable mature consideration of the subject, which will bo the principal item on the Assembly’s agenda. The New Zealand representatives, Mr. W. J. Jordan and Sir James Parr, will strongly press. New Zealand’s proposals. The New Zealand delegation will leave for Geneva on September 14.
