The police stated that Dr. Thorp called to sec a patient aV. be Idol and elfb his hag in the hull. When he ret urned the hag wasp gone. A c onstable and the doctor later overtook the accused hurrying along with the bag in liis hand. Accused said he thought lie bag contained beer, and if the pmn f would give him a chance he promised to 1 -me out Ui prohibition order for life. Accused was sentenced to cue months’ imprisonment.
