An anti-cyclone ext raids across the North ' Tasman' Sea onto New Zealand, hut a westerly depression. as located over the south-west Tasman and is moving eastwards. —Forecast— Winds: Light to moderate southerly north of .Westport ■ and :.Kaikoura; ‘ elsewhere, northerly and winds soon becoming l north-westerly or northerly generally about, and south of Cook Strait and ‘freshening. Seas (N.Z. waters) : Rough between Cook Strait and East Gape, hut decreasing . elsewhere; moderate, but later rising, on the West Coast •oC .the South Island and about Foveaux Strait.
