Aha Martin added ; “What the ultimate limitations oi depth may prove to be cannot ho predicted with any degree of certainly, for in addition to the changing factor of economic feasibility, there are problems of heat, humidity and rock pressures, which conditions, at sonic stage which wo cannot yet determine, will place a limit beyond which it will he impracticable to go.” Ho disclosed that the CroAvn Alines had 32 miles of underground electric raihvay for hauling ore to the shaft. The mine had a record ye ir Avith the highest tonnage milled, and the working revenue Avas tho highest in the history of the company.
