MISSING YACHTSMAN
LAST SEEN IN TORY CHANNEL AFTER EASTER.

WELLINGTON, June 10
It is reported that Mr. J. T. Lovell, a relief worker and an amateur yachtsman, who lived on the.. Hutt river on his yacht Tasman J, and who has not been seen or heard of since lie left Port Underwood on April 21, was seen in Tory .channel shortly after Easter, battling against a north-west wind, and it was presumed at that time that ho was heading for Wellington.
Tho caretaker of the boat harbour at Wellington said to-day that Mr. Lovell had left Wellington on Good Friday for Port Underwood, but his information was that Mr Love,ll had not put in there. However, a message received from Blenheim this afternoon states that Mr. Lovell visited Port Underwood at Easter, and left there on April 21. Mr Lovell’s peoplo reside in Christchurch.
