LONDON. April 2d. Sir Thomas Inski]), Del cnee Minister, stated in the House ol Commons that the Home Office is preparing a memorandum on protecting food supplies against, poison gas comlaminat ion. Local authorities will he asked to take necessary precautions in collaboration with merchants and shopkeepers. Sir Thomas said that a special committee was now re-examining ibe whole question ol food supplies in case of war.
