Six desperate lepers escaped from Culion Island leprosarium, killed seven persons and to-day were believed to be cn route for Borneo. The lepers were armed under the leadership ot one called. Abdullah. They killed four fishermen in order, to obtain the latters’ boat ‘and then, stopping at Abcabo Island, they killed .three more persona and robbed Chinese- stores. The lepers then proceeded Lo Bonobqno, but the citizens droie them off. After this they seized another boat and escaped to sea. The islandens were afraid 1-o V:y‘ hands on .the leper-, for tear o» contracting the disease. Constabulary at present m y conducting a search in the nearby islands.
