AN UNPOPULAR DECISION. PLUTO GETS VERDICT OYER FISHER. (Press Association). AUCKLAND, May 18. In a professional catch weight contest between Cyril Pluto, of Australia, and Fred Fisher, of England, Pluto gained a decision on points at tho end of twelve tIRCe-minute rounds. The .Australian had the better of tho first three rounds, but tho next few wore even and then .Fishon came strongly over the later stages. Ho knocked his opponent down for ;i count r/ five in the last round and had him out on Iris ’feet when the final gong went. The decision met with a mixed reception. A second professional bout was staged between two middle weights, Jim Broadfoot, of Auekand, and Marine .Ryan, of lI.Af.S. Dunedin, the latter sqoring v. comfortable win on points at the , conclusion of five threc-minuta rounds.
